T-Mobile Horror Stories!

I am currently on one of four phone calls tonight, I have been on hold around 2 hours and I am livid! On a monthly basis i get text messages from 724 which is T- Mobile stating that my minutes have been renewed, my problem with this is the fact that i get the messages at 5 am and I want them to stop. I have spoken to numerous representatives and they say they cant stop sending the messages. I'm sorry but who pays for my service? I DO thats who and I don't understand why they don't have the ability to do what I tell them to do. The supervisor that I just spoke to who's name is Ashley just told me to turn my phone off if I don't want to get the messages that early, and once again....I pay for my service and I don't have a cell phone so I can get messages from them at 5 in the fucking morning... I have it for emergencies, but I shouldn't have to justify or explain my reasons for having my phone. They should just do what I am asking them to do and stop sending the messages. This is absolutely amazing that I have to deal with these people for something that they should just say "I'm sorry Jamillah, I'll have that turned off for you" but then again that would mean they actually did their jobs. I have been on the phone for over two hours right now and I am livid. The customer service sucks and I have been on hold for an hour of that time. I just got hung up on which is funny, I requested a sup and the rep named Ian just told me that there are no sups currently working and he was disconnecting the call just before he told me to listen to myself by the way. Now I know there is at least one sup there because I just finished yelling at her for calling me ignorant and telling me to turn off my phone, this company is great let me tell you! I ask for an employee number and the CEO's name and corporate address and they hang up, great example of service!

Awakening the Dawn

In the night,

when darkness is rich and deep.

The moon and stars are the only existence of light.

I awaken the dawn,

my subconscious soaring with endless possibilities.

I awaken...

For I am most alive when I am far into rem sleep,

my mind embracing all that my physical state cannot grasp.

Having more awareness of what is than anyone could possibly imagine.

I am the dawn...

The realization of something beyond what I can see or feel,

healing and rejuvenating myself to welcome another day.

T- Mobile: Rebate Hell

So, I'm on the phone right now with T-Mobile in regards to a rebate I submitted that they apparently have no record of. I'm talking to Chelsea a rebate supervisor because I am frustrated with their apparent inability to assist their customers. I submitted this rebate back in August and they are telling me that they have no record of it and my only option would be to mail it in again and wait another 6 weeks for them to satisfy my request. I'm now speaking with Chelsea's supervisor Leslie and I'm receiving the same information. So the result of these conversations you ask? Lets see, after waiting three months I am to send in the rebate once again, wait another 6 weeks and see what happens...ooh and they apologize for not having any other options.

Disgracing the Dog: Bounty Hunter Reveals himself

Oh the tangle web we weave, I recently listened to the audio on Dog the Bounty Hunter's racial slurs to the black community. He forbade his son whom was the person that released the phone call to the press for a nice fee by the way from dating a black girl because they use the N word and she apparently threatened to record his wife Beth using the word. Generally I don't have a problem with anyone using the word as long as it isn't said in a negative manner and had his sons girlfriend made such a tape the context in which the word is used would have been more important to me that the fact that "White people" say it. The context of the conversation between Dog and his son Tucker leads me to the conclusion that their use of the N word is less than becoming and Dog's concern for his career is a valid one. Not all are like myself and permit that word to de used period, and to add fuel to the flames he used it poorly. Wrong time to be making statements of that manner with the lingering anger over the Jena 6 still eminent in the minds of the black community. As a result of the leak the show Dog the Bounty Hunter which airs on A&E has had production halted due to the negative image that now surrounds the Dog. Its quiet ironic that his concern in the tape was to maintain his image by not allowing Tuckers girlfriend in their presence has been tarnished due to his own inability to be the brand he was trying to protect in the first place and avoid such statements that would ruin his career. below is a link of the audio if you would like to indulge yourself, be advised that there is vulgar content and the N word is used rapididly throughout the conversation.

How Long has it been since you've Spiced up your life?

Apparently the Spice Girls have decided release a new album. Aside from the fact that i think that we've all had our fill of them the first time around they also made no attempt to evolve musically. The only thing thats changed is they are 10 years older, the new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) is beneath mediocre and a replica of their past songs. So, excuse me if I'm not jumping out of my seat to show my support. But its nice that they are still friends, I'm just not very sure if they should be so excited that they would try and bring back the era of pop music and cookie cutter groups.
